Were here folks, after a seamless flight on Southwest, we enter the fray in Los Angeles and head for the L.A. convention center. It's overcast and cool, and we soon learn to count to three before entering an intersection on a green light. Angelinos view red lights as suggestions, rather than mandatory.
We enter Westec and my first impression is recession? What recession? This is a truly impressive display of Technology. The auditorium is full of energy, the Machine Tool manufacturers and distributors have spared no expense to bring in the biggest and baddest examples of Manufacturing Horsepower to the West Coast.
We spent Monday taking in the sights and talking to people, so stay tuned, as we compile our stories and get them up on the site over the next week.
