Assignment 1 walks you through setting up your file paths, so that when you begin saving files you won't need to navigate through a myriad of folders or inadvertently save your file to somewhere where you can never find it again. Assignment 2 takes you through a series of drawing exercises from the Mastercam handbook. First we show you how to do it with video and then we challenge you with your first 2D part drawing. ![]() Assignment 3 goes beyond lines, circles and rectangles and makes you think, with more drawing exercises from the Mastercam Handbook. ![]() In Assignment 4 we will add toolpaths, and you will write your first Mastercam CNC Program, congratulations! ![]() Assignment 5 teaches you construction planes and transform and you will begin to work in the 3D world. ![]() Assignment 6 Work coordinate system (WCS) this is where everybody hits the wall, machining on multiple sides of a component in one Mastercam file. Have no fear, we have steered hundreds of students through this process, you will be up and running in no time. ![]() In Assignment 7 we will create our first part using solid geometry, from here on you are using the tools of the power users ![]() exercises 8 and 9 build on these skills ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() and then we move into volume 2; 3D toolpaths, surfacing, high speed toolpaths, multi axis machining and much more.
