Do you find yourself changing the same parameters, every time you perform a toolpath operation? Use these steps to setup your operation defaults. Mastercam can be customized to improve your work flow
Expand your properties tab in your operations manager and click on files  Click on the options tab in operation defaults
 Pick a toolpath to setup defaults
 You will see a set of pre-defined tools, any values will be proportional to this tool
 Set all values here, clearance, retract, multi passes, depth cuts, lead in/lead out etc.. These values will become you default every time you call up this toolpath.
