The purpose of this website is to provide high-quality, affordable training to people in the manufacturing industry and specifically in the area of CNC programming and process development. We don't just teach a software interface, we teach CNC programming for the real world, and our instructors are not software sales people, they are working professionals in the industry. I developed my theory of process development over 30 years in the Industry, including founding and running a manufacturing Business for 15 years in the heart of Silicon Valley. I later began teaching CNC Programming using Mastercam at DeAnza College in Cupertino, California. It was there that I realized that there was a serious disconnect between student and instructor, and a serious underutilization of Technology in Education. I found myself in a classroom staring at 30 individuals with completely different reasons for being in the course, and completely different levels of experience. At one end of the spectrum was the student who had barely turned on a computer and needed help logging on to the College network, at the other end was the Senior Programmer who wanted a refresher course in the latest version of the software. During my struggles to teach to all the levels of students I realized something that would change my life and set me on a new path: In the modern World, all Education must be custom. I realized that I needed to get out of the business of delivering information from the front of the classroom and into the added value business of helping students individually on their own terms. I had a class to teach, I needed to show people how to set up stock in Mastercam how to apply a contour cut, how to drill and tap holes how to use the work coordinate system. So in 2006 I started recording my screen and building videos and I built a website and gave my students access. If you live in San Francisco Bay Area you can take our courses in person at DeAnza College, or online for College credit, if you live in the State of California, without paying out of State fees. However, if you are unable to attend our College, or if you just want the training on your own terms, without waiting for the College schedule to align with yours. You can sign up for our courses on eapprentice.net We offer all three Mastercam courses, and the Mastercam for SolidWorks course at an extremely affordable price. Please join us. You won’t be disappointed. If you find that our courses are not suitable for you, just let us know within the first five days of signing up and we will refund your money, no questions asked.
